Hub Group 50th Anniversary Campaign

If you’ve taken a road trip — or just a trip across town — you’ve probably passed a Hub Group semi-trailer or train car. The intermodal shipping company’s bright green containers have criss-crossed the country since 1971, and during those 50 years, Hub Group has been in constant motion. In that time, a variety of acquisitions strengthened Hub Group’s offerings and allowed for new capabilities, its development of industry-first technology allowed the brand to offer end-to-end visibility for every shipment and so much more.

To engage employees, drivers, customers and community in celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary in 2021, Hub Group asked Walker Sands to design an integrated awareness campaign around the theme of “50 Years of Service, Integrity + Innovation.” We built a campaign, 50 Years and Counting, that quantified Hub Group’s impact via digestible, stat-based content — warehouse square footage, GPS devices, deliveries and more — that would celebrate the growth Hub Group has realized over last 50 years while emphasizing that they’re still just getting started.
